About Our Rescue Group:

We are a small non profit Great Dane Rescue. When able I will take in Large breed dogs, and find them their forever homes after evaluated and spay/neutered. We are located in the county on several acres. We can takin in dogs from any state and can ship by car or air to any state with approved adoption application. Home inspection may be required.

We are located just ousite Golconda, IL visitors welcome anytime, if looking for a specific pet available please contact prior to driving out as we do foster some pets off site.

Our Adoption Process:

There is an Adoption fee of $300-$500 depending on the pet and its needs.. All pets will have current shots, and microchipped. They will be neutered/spay prior to leaving our rescue,.There will be an adoption application and contract signed prior to pets leaving.

What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
