Missouri Foster Cats is a small, individually run Foster Program located in California, MO and servicing the mid-Missouri area. We foster and re-home kittens and cats that are homeless, abandoned, abused, and rescued, giving them a second chance. We do our best to provide them with all the medical care, food, shelter, etc that they need until we can find them a forever home! Making sure they are adopted by a good family is very important to us.

About Our Rescue Group:

Missouri Foster Cats was started in 2007 and and is located in California, MO. Missouri Foster Cats is a small, individually owned and operated state-licensed Rescue for kittens and cats. We have a room in our home that is dedicated to the foster cats, equipped with toys, bedding, food & water, litter boxes, and climb trees! Classical music is also played in the background to achieve a peaceful environment. They are NOT caged, and are free to roam and play and act like kitties do in our Cat Room! Our Adoption Process:

If you are interested in adopting one of our available kitties, please send us a message with your contact information so someone can get a hold of you as soon as possible! (Don't forget to check our pictures for available kitties!) For safety and health reasons, we do NOT ship any of our cats or kitten out to be adopted. All foster kitties must be personally picked up! We ask a $20 adoption fee for any kitten or cat, to help cover the costs of taking care of them (food, litter, toys, medical, etc). If after you adopt a kitten/cat from our Program things don't work out, we ask to contact us regarding the furture of the animal. We hold all rights to the placement of the animal if adoption doesn't work out. We require potential adopters to fill out an adoption application and adoption contract.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
