Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
The Bartholomew County Humane Society is a non-profit organization that cares for homeless strays in the Bartholomew County area. We greatly depend on donations to properly care for all of our rescued animals asking for a second chance.About Our Shelter:
The Bartholomew County Humane Society was established in 1966 to provide humane support, care, shelter, and medical attention to abandoned and homeless animals, to place adoptable animals in permanent homes, and to promote education for responsible pet ownership. We also work with a low-cost spay/neuter clinic once a month to help reduce unwanted reproduction for members of the public.
Come Meet our Pets:
Come meet our adoptable pets during our open hours: 12pm-6pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We are also open 10am-12pm on Saturday. Some adoptable pets are listed at www.happydog.petfinder.com but there are always between 100-200 available at the shelter. Visit them at 4110 E 200 S, Columbus, IN.
