Pets at Our Rescue Group:

Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

We are located just South of Nashville, TN. we serve all of Middle Tennesee and outside areas as needed.

About Our Rescue Group:

We are a foster-based rescue that focuses on Corgis- Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Cardigan Welsh Corgis, and Corgi mixes. The rescue is headed by me and my husband, as well as a small board of directors.

We rescue corgis from all different enviornemts, from a loving home that can no longer care for the Corgi to a mass breeder that is selling off her stock or surrenders animals to us. We rehab the Corgi if needed, and work on basic training such as basic obedience, socialization, loose leash walking, and housebreaking. There may be times when a family falls in love with a Corgi before he or she is fully rehabed, and if the family agrees to contiune training, we will adopt out.

We started rescuing Corgis when we saw there was not a a a rescue in the area, but many Corgis were going into shelters. We have 3 Pembroke Welsh Corgis that were puppy mill puppies that we bought before we knew any better, and we want to help those Corgis in need. We love the breed, and love working with them, as well as some other herding dog breeds on occasion.

Come Meet our Pets:

Since we are a foster-based rescue, an appointment is usually needed to meet an animal, but can usually be arranged within 24 hours of a request. Ee are usually at any local dog fesitvals or events as well, and will have as many Corgis with us as we can.

Our Adoption Process:

There is a required adoption application, which is free. Then there is a meet and greet and/or home & yard visit made to make sure that the enviornment is going to be a good one for the animal. After that, there is a very short adoption contract, followed by payment collection. The fees vary from dog to dog, but average around $100.00 since most of the dogs need basic shots and spay/neuter. The fee is to cover most if the vet costs, and boarding if the pet was boarded upon coming into the rescue until a foster/forever home can be found.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
