About Our Rescue Group:

Kobi's Promise is a small foster-based all breed animal rescue located in Central Maryland dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming abused neglected and homeless pets.

We rescue dogs and cats from high-kill shelters where they face euthanasia due to overcrowding. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes while they await their forever homes.

It is our promise to each dog that enters Kobi's Promise that they will never again find themselves alone, hungry, abandoned or have reason to be afraid. Once a dog becomes a Kobi's Promise dog, we stand behind that dog for the rest of their lives, and are always here for them if they ever need us for any reason whether it has been one day or ten years.

Our Adoption Process:

Application, home visit and adoption contract required.

Adoption fees vary and all dogs are up to date on all vaccines, heartworm and flea preventative, microchipped and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Due to the high volume of inquiries we request that all adoption inquiries be made via email.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
