Pets at Our Rescue Group:

Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

We serve East Tennessee by rescuing, vetting (spay & neuter), rehoming, and sheltering dogs and cats in need.   We primarily offer spaying and neutering services for dogs and cats in Greene County, Tennessee.
We are a "no kill" private shelter/sanctuary.

About Our Rescue Group:

The numbers of dogs and cats euthanized in the U.S.A. every day is staggering.  Greene County is no exception. I started my organization primarily to house a  dog who had come into my life, but had no where to go, other than the pound.  I bought a house, where I could have dogs like him and give them a second chance at life. I am a retired special education teacher, and now  instead of children, I rehabilitate dogs so I can find them loving, forever homes.

Come Meet our Pets:

Please call to make an appointment to meet our pets at our Greystone location in Greene County or at the annex in Johnson City.We also can meet you at PetsMart with the dog you are interested in.  Please call Pat 423 416-3482 to make an appointment.

Our Adoption Process:

We require an adoption form, a contract.  These include a vet reference, a home check.  Adoption fee is $100.00, which includes spay or neuter, all vaccinations, worming, and heartworm check. We only adopt to people who consider a dog as an important addition to the family. We do not adopt to persons who have unaltered pets, or who have pets who "live" outside.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
