About Our Rescue Group:

We are Feline Folks, a volunteer organization dedicated to "Humane Feline Management" in the South Shore area of Hillsborough County. Since our inception in 2007 we have S/N 1,952 Cat & Kittens and found forever homes for 547. We believe thta the Cats are the Gate Keepers of our Community
and once they are S/N to control population explosion.Daily we provide Colony Feeding, Care, & Monitoring. If we can socialize cats or kittens we foster them for forever adoption.

Our Adoption Process:

it is the comittment of Feline Folks to place rescued Cats & Kittens that are socialized into a caring & loving forever home.
Therefore our adoption contract will ask you to verify your agreement to provide a safe & pleasant surrounding, quality care, food, & medical if needed. So please consider your comittment before adoption:
Adoption Fee is $25 and includes: S/N, Rabies Vaccination,
Earmite treatment, Dewormer, & Flea Treatment

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
