About Westside Rescue Inc
We work almost exclusively with the homeless in Fresno educating them on proper nutrition and care of their pets (mostly dogs). We provide food, shots, worm medicines and parasite control and arrange for free spaying/neutering. We began working with this population when we discovered that first of all, it existed and second of all that the majority of the homeless population love their animals and want to take care of them properly. We are animal lovers first and foremost and want to be sure that they are cared for and loved by their human family.
