Areas Bowman's Canine serves
We are based out of Valley Center, CA and happily adopt to anyone in the greater San Diego Area (including Escondido, Poway, Encinatas, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos etc.), Orange County, Los Angeles and Riverside Counties.

We require one adoption interaction at our facility with the potential adopter's entire family and any other dogs, one adoption interaction in the potential adopter's home and one training session with the dog at our facility before the dog goes home to help the transition from our facility to their forever home go smoothly. We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application during the first or before the first interaction. If the family decides to adopt we require them to sign an adoption aggreeemnt and pay an adoption fee.

About Bowman's Canine
Bowman’s Canine rescues euthanasia bound dogs from local shelters that have been previously deemed unadoptable
because of manageable or reversible behavior issues such as dog-dog reactivity, under socialization and lack of impulse control. We house them at our temporary facility where they receive the love, attention and training needed to help them blossom into the happy, loving family dogs they were always meant to be.
We also provide affordable reward based training and behavior services to the public to help reduce
the number of dogs that end up in county shelters.
