About Our Rescue Group:

A small rescue I rescue dogs that are street strays in my local area. Many dogs are dumped in my rural area so that is where I focus my attention. I also sometimes help horses in need or cats that may show up at the ranch. I also foster for HTZ Giant Schnauzer rescue and they assist me with the costs for some non Giant Schnauzer canine rescues.

Our Adoption Process:

Adoption application is required (no fee to apply) including a veterinary reference.
All dogs old enough will be spayed/ neutered prior to adoption
animals too young will be on a spay/neuter contract paid for by us.
In person meet and greet including any dogs currently in the household and all children in the household.
Fenced yard may be required for certain adoptions
Actual adoption fees vary by animal but are less than the money actually invested by the rescue to make the animal ready to adopt.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
