About Our Rescue Group:

I am a very small, independent dog rescue with limited space. . . I have been doing rescue since 2000. In the past, I have pulled dogs from our local shelter that had failed temperment, or were out of time and at risk to be euthanized. However, these days I've been running full with dogs which are abandoned and/or owner surrenders.
I started doing rescue by fostering two sibling pups from our local shelter, who'd run out of time...been doing it ever since.
I have only had one foster home in the past, however, for the past several years, I am solo, which limits me on the number of dogs I'm able to take in to rescue and care for.
Whenever possible, if an owner is able to foster their own f of, I will assist in the reforming - this includes screening, the home visit + placement in addition to ensuring the dog is current on shots, heartworm, flea prevention + has been neutered/spayed.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
