East Coast Humane Society's main shelter is located in Ga. We have foster homes from Fl to Ct. We do adoptions throughout the northeast.

About Our Rescue Group:

East Coast Humane Society is a 501c3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to saving dogs from high kill shelters and commercial breeding facilities. Most of our adoptions are in the northeast as they have fewer dogs than we have in the southern states. We do not receive any government funding and rely solely on donations, adoption fees and other dog lovers who are willing to donate their time for our cause.

Our Adoption Process:

We will try to match your family with the best dog for your lifestyle. We reserve the right to deny you for adoption or to suggest a better fit for your family. You must submit an application at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under adopt. Fees vary depending upon vetting, age, etc. We offer a senior dog for senior humans program

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
