About Our Rescue Group:

Cherished Souls is a non-profit animal rescue. We save dogs and puppies that have no other rescue options and are scheduled to be euthanized in high kill over populated southern shelters. We do not pick and choose who we save, we save those pets that really need it! They are all pets that are highly adoptable and are killed due to space limitations! Come Meet our Pets:

We do not have a facility to keep our adoptable pets. They are in loving foster homes, already being housebroken for you! :)
We will set up a time to visit with a specific pet once your adoption application is approved.

Our Adoption Process:

We do require a completed adoption application and home visit before we approve adoptions. Please do not take offense, it's nothing personal, these pups are "cherished souls" to us, and we want to make sure they are going to good FOREVER homes! We also have a dog trainer that volunteers and fosters for us, she is willing to help with any issues our adopters may have at NO CHARGE! We want to make sure You and your New Pup are happy and satisfied!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
