About Our Rescue Group:

We are a small rescue that started 40 years ago. Rescuing one dog at a time because I couldn't stand to see a helpless animal suffer in pain, be scared because it was dumped by the owner or given away because the owner didn't want the dog anymore. We take the dogs/puppies to our vet when we get broken and sick ones. We have had broken legs, pelvis jaw, hip, ribs. We have had parvo, distemper, kennel cough, pneumonia. We take them all to our vet Selah Medical Hospital, Dr Mike Bekinski. He is a wonderful vet and so is his staff.

Our Adoption Process:

We have an extensive adoption application that must be filled out. We require that the family have a secure yard. Are not gone 7-10 hours a day. Have the rescue dog/puppy inside with the family. Take the dog/puppy to obedience school We require they show lots of love and leadership to the rescue dog/puppy. We have an adoption fee between $90.00 and $220.00.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
