Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
We serve Anderson as well of other cities and states. We promote adopting rather than shopping for a pet. We re home unwanted and homeless dogs and cat to forever homes.
We are a no kill shelter. Every dog and cat that leaves our facility has been vaccinated, tested for heartworms and is on preventative against contracting them. All cats and dogs are spayed or neutered before leaving. It is our mission to stop unwanted animals by spaying and neutering as many animals as we can. We do apply for grants to assist in spay and neuter to the public at a reduced cost to low income households.
Come Meet our Pets:
We are located 2219 Crystal St. Anderson, IN 46013. Events are held nearly every weekend to raise money in order to care for our animals. We offer microchipping and nail trim clinics every third Saturday of the month at a reduced cost. Our hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday from 12-5.Tuesday and Thursday 12-6. Sunday the kennel only is open from 12-2. Wednesdays we are closed. Please stop by and see our beautiful animals that are waiting for you.
Our Adoption Process:
You must complete an adoption application (we can email it to you, but we ask you return it in person). Our adoption fee is $200 for special breeds $150 for mixed breed puppies 6 months and under $125 for mixed breeds 7 months up to 6 yrs. of age, anything over the age of 7 is $100. Cat fees are $85 for 6 yrs. and under, 7 and older is $65. The application does require us to know about your home environment and other animals in the home so we help you find a pet that will fit your lifestyle as a family member for life. We will also contact your vet to make sure your pets are up to date with their care. If you don't currently have pets, we will check references.
