Pets at Our Rescue Group:

Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

We work out of a high kill shelter located in Boyd County Ky.
In the last 3 years we haved saved almost 1000 dogs.
We have helped move animals from galia co in west va. and carter co ky.

About Our Rescue Group:

Our small rescue group was started by myself and amy my daughter 3 years ago. We now have three key helpers who help with rescue contact. transport issues, adoptions, and fostering. there are 6 foster homes that we hold pets until the veting can take place. together we save on the average 35 to 40 dogs per month. Money is getting tight at this time so out numbers will have to go down until funding is found, We have been liucky to have found two like midned women that see rescue as very important. not only helping the animals but doing a service to our community. making it a better more responsible place to live and work.

Come Meet our Pets:

we attend the first friday every month in Ashland Ky. times are from 6pm until 9pm. live music and old cars are featured. and a good time is had by all.

A car show is held at the kova mall the 3rd saturday of each month. aarf is there serving food and drink to the group. lots of old cars and good music for everyone to enjoy.

Our Adoption Process:

We have set our adoption fee at $100.00. this doesn't cover the cost of pulling the animal and having the veting done. we think it will seperate people that can't afford a cat or dog from the ones that can.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
