We are a 501(c)3 no kill animal rescue. We have rescued dogs from everywhere. We are located in Blount County.

About Our Rescue Group:

We are Rebecca's Paws and Claws Inc. We rescue abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs and cats. We do this to help save lives. We also do low cost spay and neuter.

Come Meet our Pets:

Our foster parents are located in Hayden, Remlap, Locust Fort, Smokerise, Anniston, Trafford, and Mount Olive. We can meet any time as long as you call and make an appointment. We adopt at many different locations. We adopt on Saturdays at Petsmart in Bessmer, Petsmart in Trussville, Petco in Hoover, and Petco on 280. We also have cats located in the cat boxes at Petsmart in Bessmer.

Our Adoption Process:

Our adoption fee is $50 and up. We have a short contract you must fill out to adopt an animal.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
