We serve the North Texas area. We rescue animals from local shelters were they are at risk of euthanasia, place them in foster care, and get them healthy and ready for adoption.

We do not do out of state adoptions.

Our weekly adoption location is at the Petco in North Arlington.

About Our Rescue Group:

Texoma Pets Alive is a non-profit animal rescue and adoption organization, located in the North Texas area. We are dedicated to saving the lives of homeless pets who might otherwise be euthanized in area shelters.

We have several of our available Cats and Kittens on display at the Petco in North Arlington, located at 2733 North Collins, and we hold adoptions every Saturday from 12 pm to 4 pm.
If there is a pet you see online that you would like to meet, please email us and we will do our best to arrange a meet and greet as soon as possible.

Our Adoption Process:

If you are interested in adopting one of our cats, please download our application form or fill out our online adoption form.

Our adoption fee is $100 for cats and $150 for dogs.
This fee covers the following:
Cats -
Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Aids (FIV) Test
Age appropriate vaccinations
Spay or Neutering
Deworming

Dogs -
Heartworm test
Age appropriate vaccinations
Spay/Neutering
Deworming

We are also working to get all our pets microchipped.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
