St Louis MO.

About Our Rescue Group:

WoofWoof began in 2003 when we fostered and found a home for GIZMO, a cute All-American Mix. We worked for several St. Louis rescue organizations, most notably American Eskimo Rescue. We also sat for relatives' dogs at no charge, and sat for FETCH, a national dog sitting service.

By 2005, we began our individualized dog sitting services to supplement our retirement income. In April, 2011, we relocated to a home that has enough space inside and out to provide more space for our doggie guests.

We now have a thriving dog sitting service, and we continue to foster dogs, most usually for our clients who need to find a new home for a dog they can no longer keep.

Come Meet our Pets:

We love visitors! Please check our website and call or email us for an appointment. We are almost always home, so most any day/time works well for us.

Our Adoption Process:

We interview potential guardians by phone, asking what type of dog they are seeking; what accommodations they have; other pets or children.

Fees depend on the individual dog. They are flexible and reasonable. They are used to cover fostering expenses.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
