Pets at Our Rescue Group:
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
We adopt out of state or locally. We require adopters to come to our foster homes. We meet adopters in our foster homes. We will not meet at stores or gas stations, this is too dangerous for the animals. We also feel you can get a better understanding of the pets personality if you witness it in its home environment. We do not transport we feel that is too stressful for the dogs, plus our foster parents would like to meet potential adopters. Our smaller dogs are not adopted to homes with bigger dogs or smaller children. Our fosters hold the final decision in approving a potential adoption.
We have been locked out of our email for about a month. We are now back up and running! We specialize in Puppy Mill Rescue. We will also take owner turn ins and pound dogs. We will not take in any strays. Stray dogs must be reported to the proper authorities and given a chance for their owners to locate them. We are a group of 4 volunteers. We started this rescue about 3 years ago. The main founder in our group has been working in rescue for 7 years. The co founder has been working in rescue for 5 years. We started this rescue to help dogs have a second chance at life. We do not have a shelter. We are strictly foster homes only.
Come Meet our Pets:
We operate on foster homes only. You must have an approved application before you can view any of our animals at their foster home. Foster homes are by appointment only. Our foster homes do permit weekday, weeknight, and weekend appointments.
Our Adoption Process:
Our adoptions fees vary. Adoption fees go to cover more than just what we put into a puppy/dog. Adoption fees go to cover the cost of running our rescue. Our fees cover vetting, heart worm and flea prevention, parasite treatment, antibiotics, shots, food, transportation costs, adoption packets, etc. Adopters are also required to pay a refundable spay/neuter deposit of 50.00 if the animal is not already altered through us. You are required to fill out an application through us. If that application is approved you then will be able to set up an appointment to meet the dog/puppy you are interested in. Some homes will be required to have a fence, some will not. At the adoption appointment you will be required to fill out an adoption contract along with a spay/neuter contract if the animal is not already altered. You are then required to keep us updated on your animal. We ask for an initial update within 2 weeks of adoption, a 6 month update then yearly updates after that.
