About Our Rescue Group:Pugs are children in fur coats - Pug Rescue NWA is a non profit 501c3 organization which takes in pugs who for no reason of their own find themselves homeless.
Surrendering owners are not judged - sometimes life deals us a bad hand and the pug needs a new home or safe place. That is what we are here to do - if you need to surrender your pug - send pictures and contact info and what the circumstances are to email@example.com.
We are 100% volunteer based. Love of a pug explains everything.
Come Meet our Pets:Contact Kathy Bohannan if you would like to come meet our pugs - she will give you a schedule - We have pugs in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Russellville, Arkansas and all of N W Arkansas. All pugs are in foster homes. So when they come to your home - you will know what to expect.
KATHY BOHANNAN, FOSTER/EVENT COORDINATOR:
We need foster families!!!!
Our Adoption Process:Fees: Based on age of dog - all pugs are spayed/neutered and microhipped as well as vet checked before going to their foster home and/or forever home. Our highest adoption fee is $350 - we have many dogs who have grants available. A special needs dog may be less or zero with a grant.
Requirements: Must be able to furnish a loving, safe and stable home where the pug will be an inside dog. Adopter must furnish monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives throughout the pugs life unless a letter is received from the vet saying this would not be safe for the dog.
Microchips: All dogs are microchipped in Pug Rescue NWA name and will remain in that name. If the dog is out more than 3 times - a board review is done to determine the safety of the dog. If unsafe - the dog will not be returned.
Contract and fees: Contract and fees are completed and paid upon approved application and adoption.
