We are located in North Central Indiana at the intersection of State Roads 14 & 25 and Old US 31.

About Our Shelter:

FCAC not only provides service to the Fulton County Animal Control division, but also to the residents of Fulton County, IN. We receive both dogs and cats from the Animal Control Officer, as well as stray animals brought in by and relinquished by county residents.

Our Adoption Process:

Adopt Fees:
Dogs & Puppies $25 - Altered $50
Cats & Kittens $10 - Altered $20

Senior For Senior: If you are 55 or older and we have a dog or cat 5 years or older, we pair you up and the adoption fee waived.

Adoption fees are also waived for those animals labeled as "URGENT" The Wellness check and altering are still required as per our contract.

Specials: Free wellness checks are offered at Fulton-Miami County Veterinary Clinic or Fouts Veterinary Care by appointment, to be done within 5 days of adoption.

Initial vaccinations only are included. Altering is required in the adoption contract and must be done within two weeks unless delayed due to vet recommendations.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
