About Our Rescue Group:

We are a group of volunteers who try to find forever homes or rescue's for our wonderful adoptable dogs. We also walk these dogs on a daily basis so they can get out of their cages and get the much needed exercise and attention.

The dogs are housed at the Mahoning county dog pound. The address is 589 Industrial Rd-Youngstown, OH 44509. The hours of operation are M-Tu-Th-F-8:30-4:30 and Wed-8:30-7pm. There are volunteers there during the week and are available to help you with any questions. The phone number for the facility is 330-740-2205 ext 1 or 2. Our Adoption Process:

Every dog must be spayed or neutered before they are adopted. The pull fee for a dog is $50 and the spay/neuter fee is $80.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
