About Our Rescue Group:

Ruffles Rescue is just one girl with a mission to save the ones who don’t have a voice, that can’t talk for themselves. Ruffles Rescue was founded in August 2011 by Christina Chandler. She does not have a ‘shelter’, so she opens her home and heart to the dogs who have been forgotten, neglected or abandoned by society. She rescues all breeds. She does not discriminate due to looks, breed, size, or adaptability level. It is her mission to save the world, one dog at a time.

Our Adoption Process:

Our Adoption Fee: Our adoption fee is $200. Ruffles Rescue relies on our adoption fee’s in order to save another life. Every penny of the adoption fee goes right back into the dogs! The fee helps us fully vet, feed, provide proper housing and care for another dog. The adoption fee helps us save one more life!

Adoption Requirements: All current pets in your home must be spayed/neutered. Your adoptive dog must be part of the family, and allowed inside your home. If you are looking for a ‘guard-dog’ or a stickily outside dog, we’re sorry – but Ruffles is not for you.

Adoption Steps: All applicants must complete a phone interview. If you are approved, we then will conduct a home inspection and a meet-and-greet if you have other pets! If everything passes, an adoption contract is signed, and we welcome you to the Ruffles family!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
