Animal Safe Haven & Adoptions is Family and Friend Run and Funded. We help the animals because we should, we can and we love them. It is never the animals fault that they are in the situations they are in.

We are a Private Animal Safe Haven & Adoptions, we work out of Family's and Friends Homes, in and around Howard County Maryland. So Visiting a animal is by Appointment Only. Email us and let us know a little about your self and whom your looking for, fill out our Adoption Application and then we can schedule a day and time to meet the animals!

Our Adoption Process:

Please make sure you understand our adoption fee and process. Our Adoption fees are as follows: $100 per each cat or kitten. Each cat or kitten will be up to date on all shots & vetting, and if over 6 months of age will be spayed/neutered before being taken home. For two cats or kittens the adoption fee is a reduced cost of $185. A pet carrier is mandatory for transporting any animal, if you do not have one you may purchase a vet approved cat/kitten carrier from us for $20. Adoption fees are required at the time of adoption and are non-negotiable and non-refundable.

First step: Our Adoption Application is located on our website, along with Information about adopting and about us! We will need you to fill out the Adoption Application and submit it, prior to setting a date and time to visit. Our website has lots of information to help potential adopters and pet parents find answers to most any of the questions they may have.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
