We are a Private Animal Safe Haven & Adoptions, we work out of Families and Friends Homes, in and around Howard County Maryland. So Visiting am animal is by Appointment Only. Email us and let us know a little about yourself and whom your looking for, fill out our Adoption Application and then we can schedule a day and time to meet the animals!

Our Adoption Process:

Please make sure you understand our adoption fees and policies. Fees are as follows: $ 62.50 per each feline NOT neutered/spayed. Each cat or kitten will be up to date on all shots & vetting. $87.50 per felines that are spayed/neutered before being taken home. Adoption free costs for any canines, small animals and farm pets depend on said animal. A vet approved pet carrier is mandatory for transporting any animal, if you do not have one you may purchase a vet approved cat/kitten carrier from us for $20. Adoption fees are required at the time of adoption and are non-negotiable and non-refundable.¬ We accept Cash, Checks made out to “Animal Safe Haven” and most Credit Cards.

We will need you to fill out the Adoption Application and submit it, prior to setting a date and time to visit. Our website has lots of information to help potential adopters and pet parents find answers to most any of the questions they may have.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
