About Our Rescue Group
We are a small non-profit dedicated to saving retired racing Greyhounds and finding them homes. We have a small kennel and work closely with our dogs, getting a "feel" for their personality. We try to match up the right dog with the right home. Greyhounds are wonderful dogs that make loving pets. There are thousands each year with no where to go when their racing careers end. We love finding them loving homes.
Come Meet our Pets
You can call the kennel to set up an appointment to come visit the dogs. We're there most mornings. We see people by appointment only. We also do different Meet & Greets at petstores in the area, and local events. you can view our Events section on our web page for different locations.
Our Adoption Process
We have potential adoptees fill out a Pre-Adoption Form (on-line) and it asks a bunch of questions about their home situation. We ask for a vet reference, and two personal references. If all is approved and agreed upon, and an adoption occurs, we ask for a $300 donation.

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
