Last Hope Doberman Rescue pulls Dobermans from shelters across Texas, wherever the need arises. We adopt out our Dobermans to locations within a 4 hour driving radius of our rescue. We serve the Killeen and Nacogdoches Texas areas.

Our adoption process consists of completion of an adoption application, reference checks, a Home Visit, and a meet/greet between the applicant and the dog to ensure that the Doberman is placed in a loving and safe environment. The adoption donation for adult Dobermans is $250. Our Dobes are housebroken, crate-trained, UTD on shots, HW tested/treated, on HW preventative, microchipped, and spayed/neutered.

Last Hope Doberman Rescue pulls Dobermans from shelters across Texas, wherever the need arises. LHDR is a "last resort" for those shelter Dobermans for whom there is no room available at other rescues and no other option save euthanasia.

Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
