About Our Rescue Group:

We are a young rescue group that rescues "last chance" kitties from animal shelters, abandonment or other crisis. All CatRanger kitties were facing eminent death before rescue. We also organize TNR programs and rescues for feral cat colonies. We are 501c3 with a Georgia shelter license. We are saving lives, one paw at a time.

Come Meet our Pets:

Our adoption center is located in Buford, Ga. It is called La Maison du Chat, which is House of the Cat in French. Our center is also a small retail location for antiques and gifts and proceeds from the retail benefit the CatRangers rescue.

Our Adoption Process:

We require references including a vet and do home visits before and/or after the pets are adopted. The application to adopt can be obtained at Adoptions are by appointment at our center in Buford. Our adoption fees are $125-145 and include spay/neuter, combo testing, vaccines and flea treatments and de-worming. Some cats are also micro-chipped.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
