Pets at Our Rescue Group:

Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

We serve primarily the Mid-Cities area, to include Hurst, North Richland Hills, Haltom City, Keller, Watauga, Richland Hills, Euless, Bedford, Colleyville, Grapevine, Irving, Coppell, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Kennedale and Arlington.

About Our Rescue Group:

We are dedicated to saving the lives of homeless pets who are at risk of euthanasia at local shelters by placing them into foster homes while they await their forever homes.
We are completely run by volunteers who are dedicated to saving pets. We need fosters to take care of pets in their home, volunteers to help with adoption events, sponsors to help pay for the care of special needs pets, and donors to help pay for everything else!

Come Meet our Pets:

All our pets are in foster homes, so meet and greets are done either at designated adoption events or by appointment.
We have several of our available Cats and Kittens on site at the Petco in North Arlington, located at 2733 North Collins, and we hold adoptions most Saturdays from 12 pm to 4 pm at the North Arlington Petco as well as the Petco stores in Mansfield and Grand Prairie. Please check our calendar on our website for more information. www.texasadopts.org
If there is a pet you see online that you would like to meet, please email us and we will do our best to arrange a meet and greet as soon as possible.

Our Adoption Process:

We do require an adoption application with references and a signed contract upon adoption.
Email is the best way to contact us about our pets.

Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter, immunizations, testing for FeLV/FIV, deworming, and the advantage of our pets having lived in a foster home where we can get to know their personalities well and help make the best match for your family. Our normal adoption fee is $100 for kittens under 9 months, $75 for kittens 9 to 12 months, and $50 for cats over a year old.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
