we serve specifically all of Ohio and any other state if the adopter or foster parent is willing to travel at least half way to pick up the dog.

About Our Rescue Group:

We are an approved non-profit organization which rescues dogs that are on death row in local pounds in Ohio. We hope to decrease the number of homeless dogs and help people to find their new best friend. What we do is have foster homes set up ahead of time and when we go to a pound to rescue a dog (s), we see if there are any dogs that fit the requirements of a foster parent and if so we then get the dog from that pound and place it with the foster family until a permanent home is found. We also sometimes take in owner surrenders for a surrendering fee which is also listed on the webiste. We of course rescue strays, but we focus on animals that are either in the pound, or could be put into one.

Come Meet our Pets:

We are at the Pet Supplies Plus on Mayfield Rd. in Lyndhurst, Ohio every other Sunday. We have the dogs that are available for both fostering/or adoption with us. We also can schedule times for an interested adopter or fosterer to come and meet the animal in our in-home shelter.

Our Adoption Process:

The adoption fees are listen on our website, and they include the spay/or neutering and the necessary vaccines. The Adoption process includes a meet-and-greet with the entire family and the other pets, and then an adoption application form must be filled out, and then the pet will be considered "adopted", of course after they pay they adoption fee.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
