We take in dogs from animal control in the areas in and around San Antonio, owner surrenders, and strays. We are a small home based rescue, no more then 20, and we try to to keep it at 10 dogs at a time. The dogs are treated as family.

About Our Rescue Group:

I'm a small home based rescue, I have fostered for years for some of the other rescues, and I wanted to do my part. I started my rescue at the first of this year, and it has been a lot of work, but there is joy in finding the right dog for the right family.

Come Meet our Pets:

You can email me and we can set up a time to come to my home and meet the dogs. Seeing them running and play in the yard, is so different then them being in a crate at an events. I don't have a set place for adoption events

Our Adoption Process:

There is a 4 page applications form, and there will be a home visit on a pit bull adoption. Not because of the breed but because of the people who may want them for the wrong reasons. The fee is $125.00 it doesn't matter how much that we have put into the dog to have them ready for adoption.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
