Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
We adopt our greyhounds to people through out New England. This includes New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts and Connecticut. We will consider other areas on a case by case basis.
Founded in 1992 in West Swanzey, NH, Fast Friends is a state-licensed animal shelter and non-profit organization. We are dedicated to educating the public about the plight of racing greyhounds and finding responsible, loving homes for greyhounds that have failed to qualify at various racetracks around the country.Fast Friends is actively involved with Community Outreach. We offer education and training to the public, community groups, and other animal welfare organizations. We work closely with many young adults that come to us through various community programs. We believe that enriching the lives of those in our community; both humans and animals is an essential part of our mission.

Our Adoption Process:
We require all of our potential adopters to fill out an adoption application before a dog can be placed on hold. We are available for adoption consultations every day between 11 am and 3 pm. Arrangements for appointments outside of this time frame will be considered on a case by case basis. Our adoption fee is $299 and includes all vaccinations, spay/neuter, dental cleaning, harness, collar, leash and dental kit. We conduct a home visit before our greyhounds are placed into a home. This may be done prior to the adoption or on the day of the adoption. We will also introduce the greyhound to any other pets in the home at this time.
