We serve primarily the City of Moody and surrounding areas with our veterinary services. Our adoptions are mostly local, but we have done several long-distance adoptions with success. We work closely with Rottie Empire Rescue in Saratoga Springs, NY.
We are a small clinic with a passion for rescue. We fill a responsibility to educate our clients and community about rescue. We support our local spay/neuter programs and try to educate our clients about the importance of this.
Come Meet our Pets:
Most of our adoptable pets are at our clinic in Moody. Anyone can stop by during regular business hours to meet them. We are open 7-6 M-F and 7-12 Sat. We do close from 12-1 for lunch.
Our Adoption Process:
$150 is our standard dog fee, $75 for cats. May vary in special cases. (Needed extensive veterinary care, multiple adoptions, etc). All adopters are screened with application, vet check, and interview, some with home check. Previous/current animals must be current on vaccines, altered, on HW prevention, and well cared for. Adoptable pets are fully vetted as age appropriate. Contract states must be altered at 6 months if too young to do pre-adoption. We reserve the right to revoke adoption if pet not properly cared for. Pet MUST be returned to us for re-adoption if adopter becomes unable or unwilling to continue to care for adopted pet.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and you'll
have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting
a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats
for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs
and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of
dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed
is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten
breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat
or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt
a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane
society or pet rescue group.
