OUR MISSION:

To improve the quality of life in the city of Farmington and San Juan county by providing comprehensive and compassionate service to the aninmals of San Juan county through temporary care, safe shelter, and placement oppurtunities, while maintianing the well being of the animals in the shelter.

Monday thru Friday 10:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.
Saturday and Sunday 12 P.M. to 3 P.M.

(We are also at PETCO on Sundays from 12 P.M. to 3 P.M. with dogs and cats.)

Our Adoption Process:

Puppies 6 weeks to 6 months $100.00
Dogs 6 months to 6 years $80.00
Dogs 6 years and over $50.00

Kittens 6 weeks to 6 months $70.00
Cats 6 months to 6 years $60.00
Cats 6 years and over $50.00

(All adoptions will have a $10.00 refundable when the Rabies shot is given by a licensed vet)

(Adoption fees include: The SPAY/NEUTER of every animal and the 1st booster shot. ALL animals must be sterilized before leaving the shelter.)

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
