Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:Lovers Not Biters Dog Rescue is a non-profit dog rescue (501(c)(3) dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned dogs from euthanasia in overcrowded high-kill shelters. We are presently operating in Louisiana (New Orleans/Baton Rouge), rescuing dogs from high kill shelters. We also have an educational outreach program in Southern California to help promote spaying/neutering and educating people able the benefits of adopting from shelters and rescues.

We are presently operating in California (Orange County/Los Angeles) and Louisiana (New Orleans/Baton Rouge), rescuing dogs from high kill shelters.
Lovers Not Biters Dog Rescueĺs mission is to help create a world where all dogs have loving and permanent homes. A world where good-natured companion animal, regardless of age or breed, are not euthanized in shelters because they are considered unadoptable.

Our Adoption Process:1. Meet and Greet with the dog and potential new owners
2. Adoption Application completed and references checked
3. Home Visit
4. If both parties agree then they complete an adoption contract and adoption fee is due. Adoption fee varies based on the age of the dog;
2- 6 months $175
6 months - 2 years -$150
2 yrs and up $125
*Adopted dogs and puppies come with vet paperwork, rabies tags, and leash. All dogs/puppies for adoption have been vetted, are up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, and some are microchipped.
