are a group of loving volunteers who are attempting to make the world better one ferret adoption at a time. We are committed to finding the right home for our rescued ferrets and educating the public.

The Educated Ferret Association Inc is a volunteer run agency created to help find homes for surrendered, abandoned, abused, homeless, unwanted or neglected ferrets. Each ferret surrendered to our agency is evaluated for health and temperament issues, and vaccinated.

We charge a small adoption donation for our animals which helps to cover the medical treatment for the animals and all of the provisions needed for our foster homes.

Please realize that no one affiliated with this rescue receives any type of compensation except for a lot of good feelings. 100% of the adoption donations and 100% of all other donations are used strictly for the animals.

Why should you adopt?

small animals can make wonderful pets, and rather than buying a small animal for sale or finding a small animal breeder, adopting a small animal from an animal shelter or rescue organization is the perfect way to add a small animal to your family. Keep in mind, there is a lot you will need to know when you provide a home for a small animal. You will need to learn what to feed them, how much exercise or attention your small animal needs, and many other important things about how to house and care for a small animal. There are different types of small animals including Chinchilla, Degu, Ferret, Gerbil, Guinea Pig, Hamster, Hedgehog, Mouse, Prairie Dog, Rat, Skunk, and Sugar Glider.
