Pets at Our Rescue Group:

Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

We promote animals for adoption our volunteers rescue from the Los Angeles neighborhoods of Silver Lake, Los Feliz & Echo Park. Our goal is to stop animals from reproducing in our community by partnering with our neighbors to help homeless animals find loving homes, providing spay/neuter assistance for homeless animals in our operating area.

Our unique in-home 'meet & greets' offer a very personalized approach to adoption and ensure a lifetime bond. Our rescue animals are not in cages, but are lovingly cared for and socialized in private homes by volunteer fosters.
We do NOT have a facility & we are NOT a shelter therefore we cannot take-in animals.

About Our Rescue Group:

We are located in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. We believe every animal is LUXE, regardless of their circumstances and our pop-up outreach and adoption events not only save homeless animals, but also spotlight businesses who support solution-based activities.

Come Meet our Pets:

We do not have an open facility so please email us or call us for an appointment as we offer door to door services, bringing animals to your home to interact in a comfortable environment.
We can also make an appointment to meet at The Urban Pet store, but an informal home check will be required.

Our Adoption Process:

We only adopt locally & to adopt from Luxe Paws we require an adoption application, signing of an adoption contract, an informal home check which is conducted during our in-home 'meet & greet" to verify the general safety of your home.
All adoptions begin with a 2-week trial adoption period in which we are available 24/7 to assist you with any problems that may arise and work with you to ensure a lifetime bond. We will sign an adoption contract upon the start of the trial foster period and adoption fees are $60 or $100 for a pair (due immediately & fully refundable should you decide not to adopt) and includes the following:
-Spay/neuter- by 4 months of age per L.A. law
-Flea treatment
-A 1 year member discount at The Urban Pet Stores
* A referral for microchipping ($45)
* The adoption fee is fully refundable within the first 30 days if you decide not to adopt from Luxe Paws.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
