Come Meet our Pets:

Our dogs can be seen by making an appointment with Audrey at audwoerter@yahoo.com or calling 607-242-2346. Please allow 24 hours for a reply. Many of our dogs are in foster homes and we have to contact the foster to set up a time to meet.

Our Adoption Process:

Contact Audrey at audwoerter@yahoo.com for information/application if you are interested in seeing one of our dogs. After the application is approved we will arrange a meet and greet with the dog you want to see. A home visit is required prior to the adoption taking place. The adoption fees are $200 for altered dogs and $150 for senior dogs over 6 years of age. If a puppy is not old enough to be altered prior to leaving the rescue, the adopter must sign an agreement to have the puppy altered by 6 months of age and provide proof that it was done. Please Note: Due to the high rate of returns, we DO NOT adopt to people who rent.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
