Pets at Our Rescue Group:
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:PapAdopters is a multi-state non-profit purebred Papillon rescue organization committed to our primary goals of rescuing and re-homing purebred Papillons, educating our communities and assisting Papillon owners and shelter organizations. We are supported solely through our volunteer network.
About Our Rescue Group:PapAdopters was started by dedicated Papillon owners who recognized that there are many Papillons each year who are surrendered for various reasons. We are a 100% volunteer foster home based organization with foster homes throughout the country. We do our best to ensure that every adoption is made carefully, attempting to put the dog into the best fit home as possible. We operate solely through adoption donations and fund raisers. We are always looking for new volunteers and foster homes. We believe that helping these homeless animals to a better future enriches our lives just as much as it does theirs.

Come Meet our Pets:We do not allow on-site adoptions.
Our Adoption Process:Our adoption process begins with a submitted application. The application requires 2 personal references and a vet reference. After receipt of the application, an in-depth phone interview will be done. If there is a possible fit for the dog in question, we will call the references, schedule a meet and greet with the applicant and the dog and schedule a home visit. The results of these activities are documented in writing. The foster home submits these documents to the board members with a recommendation to approve or not approve the adoption. Adoption fees are on a sliding scale based on the dog's age.
Puppy - 2 years $400 - $450
2 years - 5 years $300 - $350
5 years - 9 years $150 - $200
Special needs are on a case-by-case basis.
An approved adopter is required to sign our Adoption Contract which states that the dog must come back to our rescue if they cannot keep it for any reason.
