About Our Rescue Group:

For the Love of Dogs was founded in 2007 in Tennessee. Our partnership with our New England group started in 2009. Since that time we have found homes for over 100 dogs in the New England area. All of us with For the Love of Dogs have shared a lifetime of love and compassion for dogs. Since there are no lmandatory spay/neuter laws in the south, there are thousands of unwanted dogs that are euthanized every year. Every dog that is adopted, saves the life of another dog. Adoptng one of our dogs is literally saving a life.

Our Adoption Process:

Most of the dogs are located in Tennessee and are transported weekly to New England The process begins by completing an application. When the application is approved, the process begins to transport the dog to New England. The total adoption fee is $400 which includes vetting and transportation.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
