Pets at Our Rescue Group:

Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

We are located midway between Nashville TN and Huntsville AL. in Columbia TN, we can arrange transport within those areas.

About Our Rescue Group:

We have been involved in the dog grooming and boarding business for 20 plus years, during that time we have also offered housing to other rescue groups who do not have a physical location as well as rescued dogs that came our way. 3 years ago we made the jump into a more full time rescue effort. We have a mission of finding as many of these deserving dogs loving, forever homes. We here at Animal Attraction do our best to evaluate, socialize and provide a stable loving environment until we can find our dogs adoptive families.

Come Meet our Pets:

Although we do have a physical location we are small and very busy, because of this we do adoptions by appointment during the week. We live on the premises of our facility and can accommodate most reasonable times. We open our doors every Saturday for people to come look at our dogs without an appointment between 9:30-3:30. Our address is 300 West 12th Street, Columbia TN 38401.

Our Adoption Process:

We require a completed and approved adoption application before releasing any dog, whether on a trial basis or full adoption . Our adoption fee is $125-150 depending on whether or not a dog has been micro-chipped. All adult dogs are fully vaccinated spayed or neutered and kept on monthly heart worm preventative while in our rescue. Puppies have a minimum of first an second round of shots and we will arrange for spay/ neutered when ready.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
