Save A Pet, Inc is based in Forsyth, Monroe County, Ga. We are a Middle Georgia Dog Rescue.

About Our Rescue Group:

Save A Pet, Inc is a no-kill dog rescue.
We rescue dogs from the Monroe County Animal Shelter in Forsyth, Ga.
We spay/neuter, heart worm test & make certain all of our FurBabies are current on all shots.

Come Meet our Pets:

Save A Pet, Inc is at the Macon, Ga PetSmart on the 1st, 3rd, & 5th Saturday of each month.
We also invite potential adopters to schedule appointments to meet their new best friend.

Our Adoption Process:

Save A Pet, Inc's adoption fee is $150.00.
This includes spay/neuter, innoculations, & heart worm tests.
As our FurBabies come primarily from the pound, we require a fenced yard for most of them (or large acreage).
At times, we do have those that do not require fenced yards.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
