We are a volunteer group who bailed out a failing rescue in South Carolina saving over 220 kitties from being euthanized. We are committed to caring for and rehoming the 60 + kitties that we have remaining to loving, indoor, forever homes. We are currently located in the Charlotte/Pineville, NC area. We can arrange transport for adopters out of state.

About Our Rescue Group:

A group of volunteers who came together almost a year ago to save over 220 kitties from a failing shelter. We have placed the majority in other rescues, fosters and adoptive homes but we still have over 60 to find forever homes for. We do not take in cats or kittens as we accepted only this group of kitties to rehome, but we will offer advice, referrals, or help you network on our Facebook site. (Cat Rescue Coalition)

Come Meet our Pets:

We conduct adoption events at least twice a month on Saturdays from 11:30 am-3:30 pm at Pet Supplies Plus on Pineville-Matthews Rd. in Charlotte, NC. Many of our adoptable kitties are listed on RescueMe.com

Our Adoption Process:

An application, vet check and home visit are required. Our adoption fee is $25. Once we review your application we invite you to meet the kitty/kitties you are interested in adopting. We do a vet check and if all checks out good, we can arrange to bring the kitty to your home which will serve as the home visit. If at any point we feel your selection is not a good match, we will let you know. We are committed to finding excellent and forever, indoor homes for all our kitties. We do not do same day adoptions.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
