Paws for the Cause is a 501(c3) non-profit rescue serving Macomb County, Michigan.
About Our
Rescue
Group:
Paws for the Cause focus is primarily on TNR (trap, neuter, return) of feral cats, in an effort to reduce the amount of homeless animals, as well as rescue and adoption of domestic cats/kittens. We are also a registered food bank with Petco, helping those with financial instability to keep their pets, thus reducing the number of animals relinquished to shelters.
Come Meet our Pets:
Paws for the Cause Adoption Events are held at the Petco in Chesterfield Township, MI. The address is: 50870 Gratiot Avenue, Chesterfield Township, MI. The events are held Saturday from 12-3 and Sunday from 12-2. Private meetings can also be scheduled if these days/times do not work with your schedule.
Our Adoption Process:
Our adoption process involves a "meet and greet" with the cat(s) you are interested in adopting as well as an adoption application. The application takes 24 hours to be reviewed and if accepted, there is an additional adoption contract as well as an adoption fee. Adoption fees for kittens are $100 and adults are $50.
