At Groomingdales Adoption Center we serve all of Tampa Bay, FL and located specifically in the Citrus Park area. We house over 20 rescue dogs on a regular basis that are looking for loving, forever homes!

About Our Shelter:

At Groomingdales we also board and groom animals, it keeps us running!
We do support several local rescues and provide a resource for temporary boarding while they are looking for a forever home. This helps keep these loving animals out of the shelters and eventually into a new home!
Making us an adoption center for local rescue animals!

Our Adoption Process:

At Groomingdales we do require an application that is processed same day, on the spot for the animal of your interest.

Adoption Fee: $75
*includes basic vaccinations and neuter or spay.
Microchipping: $20

*Adoption fee subject to change at Groomingdales discretion, will be updated if so. This fee is a donation and goes directly back to the care of the animals.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
