Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
The Litter Box Kitty Rescue, Inc. is dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of unwanted and abandoned cats in the community. We encourage proper pet ownership through nutrition education, training guidance, medical awareness, and personal support. We also promote a healthy lifestyle through spaying and neutering to decrease overpopulation in the community and to help decrease euthanasia and abandonment in shelters. We serve Bartholomew & surrounding counties- please call if you need help!
About Our Rescue Group:
The Litter Box is an all volunteer based rescue. We work with the local Petco to house kitties for public interaction, you may have seen our adoptable kitties being goofy & sweet! We also work with our local Animal Care Services by pulling kitties from the shelter to decrease in euthanasia in the community. As of right now we have an intake limit from the community, due to funding. We are brand new here in town, but have put our heart & sole into the cause for many years through other rescue organizations. We work with volunteers as foster homes, who are able to provide a safe environment for a kitty during rehabilitation.
We hope to begin grant writing & attaining funds to put towards more intakes of unwanted kitties. And we eventually hope to move into a local building with daily hours! The more kitties we can save, the better!
Come Meet our Pets:
