Angels for Paws is a dog 'rescue'. We are currently needing foster families. If you would like to foster one of our dogs, please send us an email to angels_4_paws2011@yahoo.com for an application to foster.

About Our Rescue Group:

Angels was founded in August of 2011, by a woman (Brenda) who walked through a high kill shelter in Louisiana. Since seeing a 4 month old Pit Bull she couldn't save stuck in the shelter, she began a rescue of her own. Til today Angels 4 Paws continues to save dogs from being euthanized from that very shelter. Her and family pull dogs in need, vet them fully then adopts them into loving homes. Giving shelter dogs hope of life. Angels' foster base is small which only allows a certain amount of dogs in the organization. Now we are settling down in Colorado and will continue the quest in rescuing shelter dogs, one at a time.
Our dogs are special in every way to us here at Angels. Most of the dogs we take in were on (DEATH ROW) These dogs/pups had no hope! In a remote area in South, dogs are chained, abandon to die, fought, starved, bred over and over again, and beaten! We are trying to do our part in helping homeless and unwanted dogs/pups.
On this website you'll find many amazing dogs looking for home. If you have any questions about our dogs, please feel free to contact us anytime.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
