Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

A Dogís Dream Dreamerís Foundation is a dog rescue organization located in New Bern, North Carolina. The main focus of our efforts in Eastern North Carolina to ensure our coastal community is being helped. The Dreamerís Foundation has two main points of focus; saving dogs and helping other animal rescue organizations in need. We also exist to help ensure animal rescue groups and humane treatment groups in our area have the resources they need to care for forgotten and abandoned animals in our communities. The Dreamerís Foundation is set up to care for animals in the event of unforeseen circumstances. On occasion, we find dogs that need our help. We take full financial responsibility for foster animals and their care. We are here to help when other groups have a need.

We work tirelessly with local businesses and individuals to raise awareness and resources to help promote humane treatment of unwanted and misplaced animal and responsible pet ownership.

We serve all of Eastern North Carolina including the counties of Craven, Jones, Onslow, Pamlico, and Pitt.

About Our Rescue Group:

A Dogís Dream LLC has been committed to giving back to the local animal community from the beginning. Through the creation of our Dreamerís Foundation, we can ensure that as many animal as possible receive the proper care and treatment they so richly deserve.

The Dreamerís Foundation was created to reach out and help animals in need. Through the help of donations and volunteers, we are able to give back to those in need as well as lend a helping hand to local rescue groups in our area and beyond. Animal rescue volunteers work extremely hard to take care of forgotten and abandoned animals. They often work for free, with little in return. Any group, at any time, can request funds to help ease an unexpected financial burden.

Your support through donations and events will help us give back and support local animal rescue groups. Your donations will also help to provide care for foster animal in our care. Sometimes, even all of our hard work just cannot prevent emergencies from coming up. In a largely transient community, such as ours, animals are often abandoned and left to fend for themselves. As such, they are prone to disease, malnutrition, and serious injury. It is our desire to work tirelessly to help these animals regain their health and find their new forever homes.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
