Pets at Our Rescue Group:
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:We mainly serve the inner city of Los Angeles in the area south & southwest of downtown, however, we also rescue dogs from surrounding Riverside & Orange Counties .
About Our Rescue Group:GRFF is an organization of police officers, firefighters, EMTs & civilian volunteers whose primary goal is to get homeless dogs off the streets of South Los Angeles & surrounding areas, spay/neuter them, provide medical attention as needed and ultimately place the dogs in loving forever homes. The dedicated officers and others of GRFF devote their own time, money & other resources to help alleviate the suffering of the canine castoffs of the most blighted & dangerous areas of the city. GRFF is a new 501(c)3 charity, but we have been rescuing dogs for years without benefit of outside financial support. All dogs are placed in loving foster homes until a permanent home is found---no shelter. All rescues receive medical attention, as needed, vaccinations, spay/neuter & microchip. GRFF partners with & supports other rescue groups. Our goal is to help reduce shelter intake & overcrowding, provide info on responsible pet ownership & rehome unwanted homeless pets.
Come Meet our Pets:Since all GRFF rescues are placed in foster homes and are NOT kenneled, you can meet any particular dog by appointment by calling (949) 295-8913. You can also meet us on line (www.GhettoRescueFFoundation.org), on FaceBook @ Ghetto Rescue FFoundation and on PetFinders. GRFF attends adoption events & pet fairs throughout the year---check our Events calendar on the web.
