Our dogs are small enough that an approved out of state adoption is possible if the adopter is willing to fly into San Antonio to meet the dog and fly back home with the dog in the cabin with them.

About Our Rescue Group:

San Antonio has more then 200,000 homeless and intact dogs inside the city limits. We rescue some of the small dogs that we can and get them helthy and placed in loving forever homes. We educate the general public in good dog husbandry and how they can help reduce the over population problem.

Come Meet our Pets:

Meet and greets are arranged after the interested party submits an adoption application.

Our Adoption Process:

The first step is to fill out the adoption application. Followed by a meeting with all family members and the dog. Followed by reference checks and a home visit. Followed by a trial adoption and sleep over for one week. Followed by a permanent adoption. Adoption fees vary from 100.00 to 300.00 depending on the vetting costs.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
